Day 1: Oct 1: Flights to Rome

Today: Your pilgrimage begins today as you depart on your overnight flight to Israel. Meals and drinks served aloft.

Day 2: Oct 2:Arrival in Rome

After landing in Rome, we meet our Tour Escort once we’ve proceeded through customs and collected our bags. We then transfer to [insert Mass location here] for our first Mass of the pilgrimage. Afterward, we proceed to our hotel to enjoy a special Welcome Dinner followed by a restful night’s sleep!

Day 3: Oct 3: Assisi

After enjoying breakfast at our hotel, we board our bus for the scenic drive to Assisi (3.5hrs). Upon our arrival, we will enjoy Mass an participate in the evening’s festivities to celebrate the Feast of St. Francis.

Day 4: Oct 4:Assisi: The Feast of St. Francis Assisi

Today we will share in the celebration of the Feast of St. Francis. Each year, thousands of pilgrims flock to Assisi to honor Italy’s patron Saint. Special Masses, processions and performances will fill this beautiful day of worship and devotion!

Day 5: Oct 5: Florence:

Today, we enjoy a leisurely breakfast before beginning our journey to Florence (2.5hrs). Upon our arrival we will celebrate a private Mass at the Cathedral of Santa Maria del Fiore. After Mass, we will enjoy some free time to explore this magnificent Cathedral and get a bite to eat at one of many nearby restaurants as well as catch a glimpse of the Baptistry of San Giovanni. We then proceed to our hotel to check in and relax before our dinner later in the evening.

Day 6: Oct 6: Florence

We begin our first full day in Florence with Mass at Basilica of San Lorenzo followed by a tour of the Riccardi Medici Palace Museum. After our tour, we will proceed on a short walk to the San Lorenzo Market for lunch and some free time to explore the many stalls and shops. Our appetites satisfied, we will proceed to a tour of the Baptistry of San Giovanni (St. John) and its remarkable bell tower. We then return to our hotel for some leisure time before joining together for a group dinner later in the evening.

Day 7: Oct 7: Pisa

After breakfast, we will begin our short drive (1.5hrs) to Pisa. Once we arrive, our group will enjoy a private Mass at the Basilica of Pisa located in the Piazza dei Miracoli, also known as the Field of Miracles. After Mass, our group will disperse to enjoy lunch at the nearby restaurants before gathering once more to continue our tour of Pisa. In the Piazza dei Miracoli we will explore the Leaning Tower of Pisa, the Baptistry of San Giovanni, and the Monumental Cemetery before returning to Florence.

Day 8: Oct 8: Rome

After breakfast, we check out of our Florence hotel and begin our journey back to Rome (3.5hrs). Just outside the city, we will celebrate mass at the Basilica of St. Paul Outside the Walls before, Upon our arrival, we will explore the Piazza Navona. There, we will enjoy lunch and some shopping before beginning a walking tour that will take us to the Spanish Steps and Trevi Fountain. We then proceed to our hotel for check in and a bit of rest before attending a private Mass in the early evening.

Day 9: Oct 9: Rome

Today we will share in the truly unique experience of attending a Papal Audience. An early morning start ensures the best possible view of the Holy Father as he personally greets and addresses the faithful. In the afternoon, we visit the Basilica of St. John Lateran, the oldest basilica of the Western World. We then proceed to celebrate Mass at the Basilica of St. Mary Major, one the most important shrines in the world dedicated to the Blessed Virgin Mary. Time permitting, we will proceed to the Catacombs of St. Callixtus.

Day 10: Oct 10: Rome

We begin our final full day in Rome with a special Mass at St. Peter’s Basilica in the Vatican. After Mass, our group will disperse to explore the Vatican and Rome at their own pace. Later, we will reconvene at our hotel to gather for our farewell dinner celebration and to get a good night’s rest before our journey home tomorrow.

Day 11: Oct 11: Return Home
